Just in case you're having trouble, here's a few things that have been cropping up.
a quick walkthrough video that might get you started.
moneybox.me is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Essentially, after connecting to etsy, sellers are given two things: an expense keeper, and a sales tracker.
The expense keeper is a form that you can access when you're logged in, that lets you easily track any expenses for your etsy shop. Perhaps you bought some beads to make a necklace with, or some wood to make a table, or some screws because the shelf you keep your for-sale items on got so heavy it broke off the wall. Just log in, track what you bought, when you bought it, how much you paid, and (optionally) where you got it from. Then you'll know how much you're spending each month.
The sales tracker is totally different, and even more useful. You want to know how much you're making on etsy sales, right? Well, we provide a sweet bookmarklet that, when you make a new sale, you can just push button and save the sale to moneybox.me. That's all, it's recorded – with links back to the sale, detailed info, and automatically calculated fees, so you only have to see how much you actually made.
Well, basically a bookmarklet is like a bookmark, but instead it runs some code! So a bookmarklet is like a little button you can put in your browsers bookmarklet bar that, in moneybox.me's case, lets you record new etsy order receipts!
Check out the video above to see-not-read, but it's an easy process. Save the bookmarklet, click it when you're on an etsy order page, and a moneybox.me receipt will come down – one that shows you your actual profit from that sale – and it'll ask if you want to save it. You do, so you click save, and it's in your moneybox!
You can always find the bookmarklet on Your Account page.
Each browser is different, but the bookmarklet will be easiest to use if you utilize your browser's bookmark bar. Once that's showing somewhere in your browser, dragging and dropping the bookmarklet should be easy – which makes using moneybox.me easy.

Well, lucky for you, moneybox.me was built as birthday present. Which means I built it anyway, and thought it ought to be free! The basic functionality, i.e. recording expenses and sales, is free.
But now, you can also upgrade your free account to get some really awesome and useful features. Things like auto-adding sales, gorgeous yearly graphing, adding manual sales outside of etsy, and more. We're actively adding new stuff based on your feedback, so if you have an idea, email us!
Upgrading is optional (you can always just use a free account), and it's $7/month with our modern browser discount. We've got a whole page with more info on that – learn more.
Cool, get in touch with me. I love hearing suggestions, I definitely need to hear about problems you're having, and if you just want to say hi, you can do that too.
You can find me on etsy, send me an , or say hey on twitter.
